What we've been doing
Berkshire Guild
We gave an hour's talk on our spindle collection, at a well-attended meeting at Berkshire Guild on Saturday 19 February 2011. After their business meeting, we spent the most hectic two hours of our lives, cramming in spindle spinning and plying. In all, thirty (yes, 30!) people took part, including half a dozen or so complete beginners. It was hugely enjoyable but nice to spend a quiet few days in Cornwall afterwards to recover! We would normally have taken some photos during the workshop, but there simply wasn't time.
